When I called to find out if they did this type of work on lamps they did not sell the person on the phone was very friendly and informative. Further, both when I dropped off the lamp and when I picked it up, the lady who worked with me was very kind, personable, prompt and professional. So pleasingly, they fixed my lamp by the next day and the cost was extremely reasonable!! Great service is so rare these days, but these folks knock it out of the park with an excellent and consistent customer experience. “One of the best service experiences ever. We purchased lighting and ceiling fans from Hodgson as that’s where our builder sent us. Our interactions with the sales person were positive, and she was very knowledgeable. Less than 2 years after purchase and installation, an expensive ceiling fan failed. Not knowing who put it in (Hodgson or electrician), I called Hodgson. Jessica took the call, I explained the issue and timeframe, and she promised to research it and talk to the electrical technician, Jason. Jason wasn’t supposed to get to me until the next day; he called me late that evening to let me know he got the message and would be out soon. He was out the next day, right when he said he would be. He immediately identified the issue and corrected it. On another fan (same make/model) that had an issue, he took the time to fix it and educate me on what was going on.
